Gun dmg vyper ult

Does it legit that vyper with armor piercing rounds can deal dmg with gun to petrified enemy??? seems like it is a bug cos armor piercing rounds doesnt work with metal skin... also there bola description "petrified creatures take no damage" not "they got 100% resistance" but "take no dmg".
