[Gun Concept] Curved Barrel Gun

In WW2 the Germans invented this curved barrel gun but it was never practical.

My idea is that the curved barrel would actually be a mystic curving barrel that can dynamically change its curvature based on the player's choice while alt-firing.

so its a normal gun, unless you alt-fire, and moving your perpsective doesn't rotate your character but rather rotates and moves your gun. (if you release the alt-fire, it will snap back to the original straight position).

This idea is mainly a meme/stupid idea but it could definitely have in-game 'practical' uses (as shown in the example images)

Potential Use-cases:

- Shooting an enemy under ramp

- Shooting behind you

- Shooting around a corner

- Shooting an enemy above the ramp

It would be possible to have a character that can set up curvature.

Since the gun is going to come straight ahead, the force that comes out, depending on bullet velocity, will require to be different inputs put in to change how the gun curves (you need to do more curvature, to offset the bullet velocity).

Have 3 be a passive-hold ability, that you can hold any time. When you hold it, you will see a trajectory coming out of you. Holding it causes yourself not to be able to look around.

If you look up/down, that arrow will unfold upwards or downwards from where you are shoot froming. So, curving upwards or downwards, assuming you're looking directly ahead from a bridge. To curve under the bridge, or to curve upwards, potentially hitting targets behind you (and above you).

If you look left/right, it will fold leftwards or rightwards of the path you're looking at. Double tap 3, to reset the bullet angle. So in the middle of a fight, you can hold 3, do some GTA gun selection wheel type maneuver, and just do a flick of your mouse very quickly, and continue the fight with the desired gun curvature you want. So, shooting around corners.

How's that?

Yeah, I think if its connected to ability and provides information to the player would be good and easily to play with or control.
With enough kinematic "feel", you can curve it quickly - and allows counter play, that if if you're (the enemy) (is) moving around, that person won't have enough time to curve the bullets and land a shot - unless they are freakishly good - which won't be too much, but it will be noticeable.

Pretty genius idea, eh?
