Grey Talon Owl Hitting Unnecessary Things

This isnt necessarily a bug, but its something that I think needs to be changed.
I've been playing Talon for around a year now and The owl being able to hit Creeps, Gardians, or any type of Objective makes Ulting super annoying in my opinion. I have had my ult cancled many times because of a zipline creep randomly coliding with my owl and I have had countless times where people maneuver around objectives so my owl cant reach them. The Owl is controlled by the player and all players can walk through Objectives and Creeps, so I think its best if the Owl has this freedom of going trough Objectives and Creeps too. I think it would help newer and older players use ult better without having to worry about hitting something by accident. If anyone in valve could fix it I would greatly appreciate it.
 
Your mistake is thinking of the owl as a unit, but it is more like a bullet. Being able to juke it with other units is kinda the point.
 
What if you intend to hit creeps or guardians?
Tbh it doesnt make any sense for that argument because the owl is a long range ultimate, you literally have to be within the radius of the walker/guardian to hit it. But also I do agree with the sense that it is an attack like everything so it should be able to "hit" the tower as well. I think it is a debatable discussion and the game devs would have to make a decision abt it cuz you can go either route, such as the idea that it IS a unit..
 
That is true, but there are ults that go through objectives that also count is bullets (I think). One example I can think of is Celeste, Her ult goes past objectives and it moves like a bullet, of course it hits minions but its an example.
Also it is true that the main way of countering it IS hiding and getting away from the ult, but thats not the problem im saying. Objectives dont give full cover for you, you can still be hit with abilities and ults (and some bullets if they get through). The owl should be able to go through it the same way that other ults do the same.

It's a common strat on street brawl.
