Grey Talon got an execute Kill in ultimate, but didnt receive Spirit bonus

36375643 at 23:50 where grey talon ults, gets a kill against Holliday but does not receive spirit power. this is not a bug with replay, i was told mid match about this

Tested a similar environment, where i ult as grey talon against a holliday from far away while its at zipline, but no success on replicating in a testing match

This is still a bug btw. Got my stacks denied twice on the match 37059870 at 4:40 and 19:55 played in 6/17/2025. It was before the patch, but they didn't add as a corrected bug in the changelog, so I assume it wasn't fixed. Both of them the enemy was in a zipline. The first one if you look Seven's POV, he just started the animation to get to the zipline before it got killed.

Also I got an older clip from 10/17/2024 where this happen too, but the replay is expired unfortunately, match ID: 23102033

From all the provided vides, everyone receives extra damage from the zipline.

Grey talon is supposed to get spirit regardless of why the target dies, as long as it happens within 3 seconds of bird hit.

However, there seems to be a bug with ziplines. Since you get damaged from being taken off ziplines, perhaps if the "killer" is the zipline itself, it might not count for some reason.

i tested that. I thought the same, but its not consistent
