Getting melee'd while dashing away

similar to @RIVREOFSOMA's post asking to make melees more visually accurate, are you supposed to be able to get melee'd while dashing away? multiple times i've dashed away - before the enemy melees - and i still get hit

Can confirm. If you dash right after the heavy melee sound stops you will be hit no matter how far you get with a dash
