The Last Eagle Flies

Quick lore concept:
After the Maelstrom, a mummy suddenly wakes up in the Metropolitan Museum of Art / American Museum of Natural History, unsure where they are and what's going on.
Worse yet, the awakened mummy is discovered by an overzealous lawyer with enough psychic talent to communicate the idea that the mummy has grounds to sue the museum. And the Patrons can provide the funding for the legal case.
Weapon:
3 shot burst. Medium range. Low velocity bullets.
Base stats:
High HP. 10% Spirit Resistance from start. Low-ish movement speed. Extra damage from headshots, reverse of what Seven and Mo & Krill have.
Art and design:
Weapon: Like Infernus, he doesn't have a gun. Fires scarab beetles from the palm of his hand.
Hero: A gauze covered mummy with a pharaoh's headdress. He could be wearing a black suit in order to fit courtroom decorum.

Ability 1 - Wave of Fear
Release a wave of darkness that damages enemies and applies Fear.
Enemies who suffer from Fear lose control of their feet, moving away from you for the duration. In addition, their movement-based items and abilities are Silenced.
Fear effects aren't too uncommon in the moba genre and they typically always work the same: you're unable to act and forced to run away. But with Deadlock being a third person shooter, I thought this would help separate it from other forms of CC.
Upgrade 1: -X Cooldown
Upgrade 2: +X Radius, +Y Spirit Damage
Upgrade 3: +X Duration
--
Ability 2 - Unravel
Throw out your hand, still attached with a line of gauze, reeling yourself towards the target hit. Deals light melee damage.
Can hit both enemies and allies.
This is kinda self explanatory. A cursed lovechild between Bebop's hook and Yamato's Flying Strike.
Upgrade 1: +1 Charge
Upgrade 2: Slow enemies, Movespeed to allies
Upgrade 3: +X Spirit Damage, -Y Charge Delay
--
Ability 3 - Rotten Form
Passively gain a chance for bullets to go through you, preventing all weapon damage on you. Bullets that pass through you can hit either team.
Bullets that pass through you deal 50% less damage.
I was actually inspired by Plated Armor for this. Coming up with unique defence layers for heroes is already getting somewhat difficult but I thought this would be funny and cause a bit of chaos.
Upgrade 1: +2 m/s for 5s after dodging
Upgrade 2: +X% chance
Upgrade 3: Affects spell projectiles with 50% reduced chance, 20 second cooldown
--
Ability 4 - Curse of Ra
Charge up a blast of tormented souls that Curses the target, causes it to take damage over time and to suffer from a potent healing reduction.
Damage is non-lethal and does not apply item procs.
The charge up should be long enough that this is easy to avoid with various abilities and quick reflexes, about 0.5 seconds. To make up for it, the duration should be quite long and the healing reduction should be at least 80%, if not 100%.
This is essentially Doom adapted to Deadlock. Being skillshot with a cast time seems like it wouldn't be too powerful. Additions like Counter-Spell make it even more manageable.
However, when you manage to land it, it will really suck to be the enemy.
Upgrade 1: -X Cooldown
Upgrade 2: +X DPS
Upgrade 3: Target Curses allies in X radius

Thoughts:
Gauze would be an aggressive close range brawler who makes use of his undead nature to help take punishment and to cause chaos among the enemy ranks. Rotten Form makes the enemy think twice where they are shooting but while it makes Gauze tankier, it won't help protect his allies that well. Piercing shots are a double edged sword.
Unravel will give Gauze the mobility to zip between enemies and allies whereas Curse of Ra and Wave of Terror help with keeping enemies in check, with Curse of Ra requiring some setup from your own abilities or allies to land.
