Game vanished, can't rejoin, only option is to eat penalty

I was playing a normal game when it suddenly booted me back to the lobby. Trying to rejoin just puts me back in the lobby. So does closing the game and relaunching. It's like the game itself has vanished.

Been two hours since, and my only options are still to 'Rejoin Game' (which never works) or Abandon with a penalty.

Ran into this bug just now as well. Ended up biting the bullet and just abandoned the game.

The strange thing is I don't see any record of the game in my match history.

This is happening to me too. I find a match, but it boots me back to the lobby before I load to the next screen. I get the "Match in progress" UI and attempting to rejoin just puts me back in the lobby in the same state. I have tried relaunching the game and the UI appeared again and I still wasn't able to join. For some reason, I was able to try finding another match in this state, which didn't result in me finding a match, instead the "Match In Progress" UI went away after a while. I tried finding another match but it just set me back to step 1.
