Game says "no steam connection" but my internet is 100% not the issue

I have fiber on ethernet and according to every other game/app I have no connection issues or packet loss, but in deadlock my game just randomly freezes, it says "no steam connection", then kicks me out. When I reconnect, nothing is wrong and I can play the game as normal. This only started recently since the last update to the game.

this has happened to me a lot and the connection logs keep saying "[2026-03-10 21:11:50] [Logged Off, 4, 0] [U:1:1056097861] ConnectionDisconnected('I/O Operation Failed') : 'OK' (155.133.248.42:443, WebSocket)"

I've seen this appear in the hideout once in a while when opening the game and usually a restart just fixes it, not seen it in game though.
