Hello folks!
I've been experiencing rampant issues with Deadlock that have arisen from each consecutive patch. When the game was initially in the time-locked stage of playtesting, I was able to play the game with max settings and no issues whatsoever. Maybe the occasional frame-drop every now-and-again, but never to the extreme I've been facing since the latest patch (October 27th, 2024). It's been a growing issue as with every patch I've had to lower or adjust my settings to prevent immense lag spikes. As I have mentioned, since October 27th, every game has been plagued with horrible lag, constant stuttering, and freezing multiple times. I've had to restart my game every single time I play a game now, and it almost never fixes the issues anymore. If anything, it makes it worse to play half the time. Considering every option I could think of, I decided to clear some more space on my PC by deleting games or unnecessary files I don't have any intention of using anytime soon, making sure my drivers are up-to-date, continuously adjusting my settings, and validating game files. This has done virtually nothing.
I really like playing Deadlock with my friends, so, please, if anyone may have any solutions to this issue that has been bugging me for the last few weeks, I'd be incredibly grateful.
