Persistent, frustraing lag throughout every game (Video attached)

This is my PC specs with a 4080 Super. This lag didn't happen the first 40 games I've played and the matches were often 40ms servers (I'm in Korea). After a certain point, I started playing in 78ms servers and these issues started happening. Throughout the entire game, every 20-30 seconds, my 'ping' will spike to consistently add 40ms, around 118ms. I say 'ping' because I've never had lag issues where I'm currently living and it's only this game that this happens to. I also have a strong suspicion that this isn't entirely an internet issue from my end and has to do with this specific server I've been getting. I've also read a forum thread(https://forums.playdeadlock.com/threads/radeon-anti-lag-2-0-causes-network-lag-stutters.20350/) here about AMD's anti lag feature possibly causing long network lag spikes which sounded exactly like my problem. My AMD anti-lag was in fact running so I turned it off hoping that it would fix the issue. Unfortunately it did not and this insane lag spikes continues. I really want to play this game and this is hindering my experience very much. I've uploaded a short clip towards the end of the game to demonstrate what this looks like with gameID included.

Im having the exact same issue and funny enough we have the same PC specs pretty much haha Pretty frustrating but I almost think its because so many more people are joining the game quickly and the server cant handle the load? idk

EDIT: All this has stopped for me. In my case I feel like it was a server issue.

I've been having the same issue since I switched from windows 10 to Nobaro. The stutter lag I've been getting is much worse, often hanging for seconds at a time and frequently getting disconnected and having to reconnect. Lag stutter seems to be exponentially proportional to the number of connected players (as lag was much more manageable in a bot vs players match than a full player matches). Game runs fine in sandbox mode.

I also have an ASRock mobo and a 7800 ryzen processor. GPU: AMD vega.

The strange thing for me is this wasn't an issue until I switched operating systems. Perhaps there was a small unofficial update pushed during my system migration that introduced a problem for ASRock mobos or the ryzen 7800 processor?

Edit: more testing info

Bot matches also cause problems and the server CPU gets a red mark against it. GPU sometimes struggles (which was never an issue before my migration). Lag spikes seem to happen during particular events: attacking walkers, attacking guardians and finally the various patron stages. These events usually trigger a server ejection regardless of where on the map they happen and my proximity to them or my current actions.

Im still getting these issues out of nowhere too ive checked internet everything is fine tried a diff PVP game and it worked smoothly but for some reason this game crashes every game for me and I dont know what to do anymore the lag is ever 1-2 min throughout the whole match.

The Red Dot on the bottom right is the true indicator of that issue.

It's apparently a package loss indicator. But I am very doubtful it is actually related to actual package loss.

Some fixes that float around suggest:

- Fixing the frame rate to 60 or 55
- Switching from Direct to Vulkan
- Switch from borderless windom to full screen
- Use a wired connection instead of wifi

There are 0 guarantees that any of the solutions will work, many of them don't even make sense if it was actually package loss.

The problem might go away during a match and come back on the next one.

It started happening to me a few patches ago and it's very very inconsistent

I've been having a ton of lag spikes/frame drops too. A lot of times if I mention it in game other players confirm, so feels like it's not a me issue? Very frustrating. Just had an awful game for it tonight. Recently it seems to come up specifically in the second game after launching more often than others, but this was my first.

Sorry for late response. I swapped graphics drivers from DirectX to Vulcan and haven't really had issues since. Not sure if recent patches also affect it tho.

Having this same exact issue as well! I doubt it's a packet loss issue because I don't experience this severe of lag in any other games that I play. When this lag hits, it almost makes the game unplayable. Have lost many games because of this issue and have yet to find a solid solution to remediate this for good. I have a similar system an RX6800 and RYZEN 5.

So from all the threads I've found on this it seems to heavily relate itself to AMD, and a specific gen of processors and GPUs, which is odd, why the hell would AMD cpu/GPU cause packet loss / looping status.
