Game Freezes Whenever I'm On Rem (Street Brawl)

Ever since yesterday every game game of Street Brawl where I get Rem my game inevitably freezes. I know its not a connection issue as I can see my ping at the top right along with no visible network errors. I can still communicate with teammates via game chat, see effects taking place in game, hear active gameplay noises including noises from my characters inputs, but it appears as if the whole server has frozen. I have played many Street Brawl matches on other characters with no issues both yesterday and today but only Rem seems affected for me. I have verified the game files hoping that would make a difference but it didn't seem to fix it. I also don't know if this affects normal or ranked game modes as I haven't tried them out.
