Hardware (latest version of Windows 11):
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D
Video Card: RTX 5090 (drivers are up to date)
Monitor: Samsung Odyssey OLED G95SD 49.0" 5120 x 1440 240 Hz
96 GB RAM
I am playing at 32:9 5120 x 1440 @ 240 Hz
Video settings are usually default due to another bug where my video settings don't persist between sessions when I change them (very annoying), unless I remember / feel bothered to change them that session.
This freeze happens consistently (most of the time but not all of the time) when I launch the game and alt-tab to a browser (edge, usually a YouTube video) in the lobby. It has also happened once while in-game. The freeze has never occurred while deadlock was in focus.
Most common case is: Launch game > enter queue > alt-tab to edge browser to do something while waiting for queue to pop > game freezes while still in lobby.
Note: it sometimes freezes when I am not in queue, but I usually queue after I launch the game.
When the game freezes, I have to either end task from task manager, or click the stop button in my Steam Library.
When I re-launch the game, about half the time I am prompted to re-connect to a game. From this I surmise that it is usually freezing before a match is found, but I remain in the queue until I actually close the game (just a guess).
Happy to provide any additional information that could lead to this bug being resolved.
