Game crashes when spectating/playing (Linux)

System info:

Linux Mint (Mate) 21.3 Virginia
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (Using driver: nvidia-driver-550) I'm assuming that this is the latest

Game starts up normally. Menus work fine. However, when either trying to spectate a game or launching a tutorial level (I would feel bad if I tried to join an actual game and have it crash) the game just stops and closes. Some elements load before this happens when trying the basic hero tutorial. Tried making sure that I've got the latest driver (Updating it from 535 to 550), setting the redering method from Direct3D 11 to vulkan, going windowed mode, lowering graphics settings, using photon, and it hasn't worked.

Side note, it says that the graphics drivers are out of date, and I'm not sure what that's about. I've checked the website, and the latest version matches my current version (550.107.02)

UPDATE: After doing a bit of tinkering, there might be a fix, which is increasing the vm.max_map_count value to a higher number (The protonDB site had a post that recommended putting it to 10485760). Will try to see if it works

Bot games, spectating, tutorials, and regular games all seem to function. Game appears to work fine so far. Annoying fix, but hopefully it's the last one needed.
