Game crashes eventually, unplayable and sometimes completely unstartable at all afterwards, "need to validate game files"

This is something that happens occasionally, but weirdly, seems to be more likely to happen after switching Steam accounts.


it will verify the game after this pop-up and then the game either crashes after playing for around a minute, or the game just crashes with this message immediately.
This has ruined 2 games in a row now, probably am in low priority now ( didn't check ) because this just keeps happening now.

Hi! writing a follow up comment in case someone else experiences a similar problem.
I fixed this by disabling XMP and setting my ram to 3000mhz cl16 instead of the 3200mhz cl 16 it is advertised to run at with the XMP profile. This has completely removed all issues I have had with this game.
I always suspect hardware faults last because I just don't want it to be true, but sometimes it just do be like that.
