Game crash forcing PC restart

I've had this crash happen a few times and it causes my whole PC to freeze. Stopping the process doesn't work and only a full restart works.

I jump and open the buy menu mid-air which is when it crashes. In the VOD you will see me run forward into a walll. I have had this before and seems to be related to opening the buy menu when in motion/lots of animation happening

what is your system? Sounds like the GPU is getting overloaded.

im not sure how strong that process is, mid range i think. I know mine is like i9-12900 or something but I doubt thats causing the issue.

4090 also shouldnt have an issue. Im running 4070 super, which i think is probably pretty comparable to yours.

So unless something is very very wrong with your rig, that shouldn't be happening. Do you know if its a full pc crash or does the screen just go black (sometimes rainbow) but you can still hear sounds or even minimize? That used to happen to me all the time on old PC when it over heated and the GPU did a forced shutdown.

Deadlock becomes 'not responding' and I am sometimes able to get task manager to load, but ending the process doesn't actually kill it, it's just stuck unless I force shutdown the PC. I played last night without any issue so it's not happening frequently. I iwill monitor the temps etc but at a glance nothing looked awry last night.

Yea, if temps are fine, then you need to save a crash report. I do not know how to do that with this game. Does steam have a support chat or anything for this game yet? IF not, i hope someone responds to this.
