I love Deadlock.
I started playing with the Shop update and Three Lines change. The graphics were not that good but well optimized. At the time, I had an i3-10100f CPU, a GTX 1050 Ti, and 16GB of RAM (8GB + 8GB of RAM). It was my first computer, which I saved up for myself. I really enjoyed playing Deadlock, but in fights, especially at the base, midboss, or 5v5, my FPS would drop. At the time, I was playing Heroes with a Spirit build and wasn't using gun so much, so I wasn't too worried about it. After a while, I saved up for my second graphics card, a GTX 1660 Super. I tested it and everything like that bla bla, logged into Deadlock, and was delighted by how smooth it was. I finally thought I could master gun characters because I wouldn't have problems with the framerate.
A few weeks later, a major update was released, with changes to the lighting, map, and character models. The FPS was ruined. I didn't even really feel the power of my graphics card. I thought, "Okay, the patch just came out. There will obviously be optimization issues, I should wait," but after a while, nothing changed; it only got worse for no apparent reason. Now I can't play Deadlock comfortably at all. My FPS and framerate are extremely unstable, regardless of the settings. Vsync, NVIDIA boost, low graphics settings, other users configurations, and upscaling don't really help. Its very difficult to aim with gun, when my framerate is jumping from 40 to 80 with unstable time between frames. I understand my computer isn't the best, but I'm far from alone. People with even the best builds also have these issues, with FPS drops for some reason (not as much as mine, ofc). I don't think using CFG is the solution. I dont really know what to send for you, but if you need any more info i can send it.
Maybe I'm being too harsh on the developers, although they are certainly putting a lot of effort into the game, but I'd like to ask you to improve the optimization in mass fights. Maybe i should just upgrade computer? I have some money from college.
Thank you.

Vsync adds input lag, but it allows the game to be at least a little smoother. Without this feature, the delay between frames is huge, and the game is extremely uncomfortable. Also it was 1600x900 resolution.
