Flaming visual bug on Yamato after early game scuffle

I had a game just now where I got a flaming visual bug that obstructed my screen for over half the game before I did a hard game restart. Video attached that shows the effect from my POV, looking through the replay the time the bug occurred was at the 3:04 mark in the game where I use my slash while being shot.
