Failed to join a match, got hit with a 1 day ban.

As the title says, when I began looking for a street brawl match and eventually got into one, it started loading and then booted me back to the spawn area with the reconnect or abandon tab. I tried reconnecting a bunch of times, and of course it didn't work, so I restarted my computer to try and solve the problem. While it *technically* solved the problem, I got hit with a 1 day ban. Sucks that I wasn't even able to connect to the match and still got a ban for it, deadlock has a real hate boner for me lately.

Edit: I forgot to mention I've also received the most diabolical thing of all: 2 low priority matches. Woe is me.

their servers are absolutely fried right now, tons of people (including me) posting how they're getting banned for:
