Bro wants to punish being low HP like its Winning Status that players can control. 100% illogical statement.i like the idea of an item that punishes being low hp and just healing all the time, but this is just shiv ultimate. i think maybe a better idea would be an antiheal that scales with missing health.
sry if what i said was misinterpreted so i will explain it more clearly- i meant there a lot of heros in the game rn, some naturally with their kit that can survive on very low hp, because they can just heal frequently. im not saying that's a problem inherently but its sometimes can be frustrating to deal with for example, getting Abrams to 500 hp and the he just heals all the time and just stays at 500 hp. im not saying that this sort of thing should be removed, i think its completely fine that if you build heal you should heal, but im also saying that a counter/combo item could be a nice addition to the game.Bro wants to punish being low HP like its Winning Status that players can control. 100% illogical statement.
I mean, yes, although I find the item problematic (unless it was instead damage based on missing hp, which I am totally for - Valve, consider!), you can choose to make yourself low on purpose, be it not leaving a fight (esp with life steal), staying with frenzy, hurting yourself with blood tribute, lady geist draining her hp to her teammates (and they heal) to get a powerful soul swap, etc.sry if what i said was misinterpreted so i will explain it more clearly- i meant there a lot of heros in the game rn, some naturally with their kit that can survive on very low hp, because they can just heal frequently. im not saying that's a problem inherently but its sometimes can be frustrating to deal with for example, getting Abrams to 500 hp and the he just heals all the time and just stays at 500 hp. im not saying that this sort of thing should be removed, i think its completely fine that if you build heal you should heal, but im also saying that a counter/combo item could be a nice addition to the game.
also, being low HP is totally something players can control. a few examples for what i mean: victor likes being low hp because his 2 does current hp damage, a rem might wait with his heal because again his 2 scales with missing hp. a player might do a combo on shiv leaving him with 50 hp only for the shiv to heal half of his health bar and kill the player. someone might wait on a heal to bait enemies. an abrams might run into the enemy team expecting to take damage to bait abilities. you can also say correct positioning as controlling if you are low hp.
i believe being low hp is something that you can control, and i think it could be nice to have an item targeted at enemy players playing too dangerously and thinking they can get away with it by just healing it.
How about missing health damage? I think that could work and would be interesting. Not only is giving Healbane an upgrade a dubious idea at best, giving that upgrade (or any item for that matter) an execute is also a bad idea.
