[Hero concept] Fate/Weaver/Moira - Inspired by the Greek Fates

The Moirai, AKA The Fates, are a classic concept from Greek myth, and the motif of three women spinning thread as a metaphor for fate is pretty iconic.
I'm not sure about the visual design of a hero based on them, besides the fact that these robes are cool, and that something to do with weaving would be an obvious direction. How do you translate that into one hero, and fit it into the modern setting of the Cursed Apple? Good question. But my thoughts for the hero's backstory would be that she's someone who's been divinely appointed to oversee fate--maybe she made some Faustian bargain, maybe something during the Maelstrom did this to her, who knows--but she's grown to resent this power and responsibility. Ironically, even in her position, she can't change her own fate. Thus, she seeks to summon the Patrons and free herself from the arrangement.

Each of the basic abilities I came up with is based on one of the three Moirai; Klotho (the spinner), Lakhesis (the allotter), and Atropos (the inevitable/death). In short: she makes enemies share damage, she keeps allies from death, she dooms enemies to take even more damage, and finally, she refreshes the durations of the whole shebang. If you're a Dota fan, you'll see Warlock, Dazzle and Witch Doctor in there. This was kind of incidental, but I did refer back to their kits for ideas once I realised the similarities.

Threads of Fate is the Klotho-themed ability. I think it could have some really fun visual design, with magical silk thread going between heroes. You could also play with this applying some additional debuff to the affected enemies, or, more interestingly, maybe you could alt-cast it to apply it to allies, and instead of sharing damage they share healing?

Destined-Grace-1774550623.png
Destined Grace is the Lakhesis-themed ability. She's allotting some extra thread for you, ain't that nice! You'd be able to self-cast it as well, of course. But I'm not sure if the death prevention should negate execution abilities--like Shiv's Killing Blow and Grey Talon's fully upgraded Guided Owl--or not. I also thought about it giving a barrier upon expiry? With the heal amplification it shouldn't be necessary, but since this hero doesn't have any healing herself to play into that, maybe a barrier would be better. Or maybe the healing incentivises cooperation with teammates who do have healing. Also, maybe it could clear debuffs as a T3 upgrade instead? Maybe it could turn into an AoE spell to affect multiple allies? Many possibilities.

Inevitable Edict is the Atropos-themed ability. It's kind of like Focus Lens without the silence but longer duration. Maybe the dispel negation should be an upgrade instead of being default. Maybe instead of the T3 immobilise, it could do some other thing, like silencing or disarming or something. Or instead of dealing damage based on health lost during the duration, it could be based on missing health, making it effectively execute if not dispelled in time. But that's also basically just Vyper's Lethal Venom.

Predestination-1774552827.png
And finally the ultimate ability that ties them all together. It's kind of minimal in design, so maybe there should be more to it. The slow and slow resist was an attempt to do that, but there are probably more interesting directions to go. But I do also like the simplicity of it.

For all of these, it's worth noting: I have no idea how busted this might actually turn out to be. I've tried my best to make it not immediately ridiculous, but there's so many interlinked factors at play. An intricate web of fate, you might say. So if you get Superior Cooldown and Superior Duration, does she just go nuts? Does buying Dispel Magic and Divine Barrier just make her useless? Does she need to rush T3 on Predestination + Rapid Recharge but then she owns the entire match? And the spirit scaling? I don't know. I'm sure we could figure it out in playtesting. Regardless, I think these 4 things in concert, or something like them, could make for a really interesting hero, both in terms of gameplay and flavour. Let me know what you think.
