Everyone in party/hideout crashes when a specific member of our party changes character

I have no idea why this is happening, but whenever a specific member in our party changes character in the hideout, everyone else in the hideout immediately crashes. If you want a log, please just let me know where they are located.

hi, friend in question here, sometimes the party members don't crash if i switch once but if i start switching multiple times eventually they all crash

also if i switch characters after we finish a game usually everyone else crashes, i never crash though

i don't know where the logs are either so i'll send them too if someone knows

okay well update, the crash is specifically when switching from vindicta to anyone else, it's just that i main vindicta so that's why i was causing the crashes

game is unmodded and everything and it still happens

My duo crashed recently when I switched to Venator in the party hideout after already switching to other heroes several times over.

Thinking about it, it was from Vindicta to Venator as I was playing with hideout cat using Vindicta ult scope laser and wanted to see if Venator ult did the same.

My party also has this issue.

The game sometimes crashes when someone changes character in the hideout, but it doesn’t always affect everyone. Sometimes it crashes for just one person, and other times for everyone except the person changing character.

No mods here, Linux through proton. I'll also take the opportunity to mention that it is consistent with swapping off of Vindacta. Convinced it is her only.

its good to mention the OS like that because it can have a pattern and find a solution,
if more are on linux through proton it can narrow down issues as there might be a pattern

i am on linux running via proton, but all the other members of our party experiencing the issues (4 others) are on windows.

This crash behaviour seems to not be exclusive to just Vindicta, as we have observed similar issues when switching to any character after getting petrified by Vyper, however it has been most consistent with Vindicta. Our operating systems are all windows, crashed or crashee. (Windows 10 and 11)
