Even connecting to a Hong Kong server has to go through Los Angeles?

I’m located on the Chinese coast. Normally, I should be connected directly to Hong Kong servers most of the time, occasionally to Japanese ones, and sometimes to Singaporean ones. I tested the direct connection to the Hong Kong region using a region-locking tool, which showed a latency of 40ms. However, as shown in the screenshot, the game switched me to a relay server halfway through the match, spiking my latency from 40ms to 330ms along with packet loss.

Yesterday afternoon, connecting to a Singapore server even routed my traffic through Japan first before reaching Singapore, resulting in 380ms latency but zero packet loss. This simply doesn’t provide a normal gaming experience. I’ve seen many other players reporting the same issue on various forums, yet there’s no solution in sight. It’s impossible to play a proper match under these conditions.
