EU voice comms are wild

I've played 65 hours and there was ABSOLUTELY ZERO game play communication.

That's wild for a team game.

games with active vc will always be less frustrating to me, like, at least i can sympathize to my fellow losing team members

I'm in EU and have played 60 games so far. Only one of them had any voice communication at all, and in that one, only one person was using voice chat (or communicating at all, really.)

I anticipate this lucky streak will not last much longer. The arguments are always quite colourful in this region when they do happen.

Frankly, hearing my teammates point fingers and throw around bizarre insults makes it harder to maintain a sporting disposition; when they're quiet I can at least pretend they're not intensely surly.

It's not great for morale to lose one (1) teamfight and have the 1/7 vindicta type "gg, /ff, useless team". And when they're quiet you can sometimes assume the truly awful players are just kids but not when you hear the voice of a 30 year old man swearing in Russian.

You say EU, but those are actually Russian guys.. Thats why many games contains/limit that "culture" in their own region, not even Tarkov(Russian game) allows them to play with rest of the world because 2 main reason, first and most important they're toxic and racist but second because nobody wanna play with them.. Europeans already playing in NA even with higher latency just to avoid them since they're already in most of the matches...

Its a huge issue in Dota and becoming annoying in Deadlock already for most of Europeans, just hoping devs split them in their own region like most games do and let them flame themselves. You cant even ask them to speak english or they go full toxic/flaming or either inting/griefing.
100% Games were way more fun and way less toxic when you didnt get them in almost every match, ppl getting burned
Those were EU servers, and by EU it just means "European". They DID allegedly make a region for Russians/Easter Europeans but I think they got rid of it after they all complained about having to play with each other because in less than a week my games were all back to what they were like prior. The EU East servers seem to still exist but I've seen posts from Russians saying there's almost no one on them and that queue times are like 25 minutes and time out, and other Russians saying they keep getting put in EU west servers.

I had the MM region on auto (-1) and had a lot of Russians, the tracklock.gg even gave me a RU elo lmao, after settings the launch params on steam to force the region to EU (1), Ive seen a lot less Russians even tho from time to time I get some that still are toxic and troll(not everyone but the majority of them).

So I believe that youre right and due to the low amount of players on EU East, with auto MM a lot of ppl were placed there by mistake, now Im only playing on EU West with the countries I used to play(French/German/Uk..) and way less Russians or Balcanic guys.

Nedless to say that im really enjoying the game again and getting a lot of balanced/fair matches without griefiers or ppl insulting and way less inters/leavers.

I remember i just joined a server just after i got an invite from valve and joined the Alpha, like in end of august and commed regularly, like i do in CS, cheering on my team, comming, making jokes etc and guys i played with comm'ed aswell and we had a good challenging game and won. One of the guys on my team was almost in tears and said that was the best game of Deadlock he ever played and i was like "ok, sure, bud, haha.." but now i understand what he felt. I've never played a game like this myself ever again since lol

I also remember one US guy joining our sever and saying something like "wow EU is awfully lot silent then our servers" and i joked something like "yea, in EU we are shy lol" but let's face facts. We all know why. It's sad.
