Enhanced Rapid Recharge With Mirage

When I got the enhanced rapid recharge with mirage it only gave me the regular plus 2 charges on the locust and afterwards the locusts would not charge and became unusable for the rest of the match.

Can confirm, this happened to me in Street Brawl just now. I got the legendary charge signet or whatever it was, and the exact thing happened to me. Even after selling the item, scarabs were broken.
