Enabling Mod Support Increases Performance

Good evening,
Enabling mod support on a 9070/32GB DDR4/5600X system via the guide (https://deadlocker.net/install-guide#manually) here. Upon loading into the game I immediately noticed that I was averaging 160FPS instead of my usual ~90 and this is sustained into match. Massive performance uplift across the board - no idea why. Thought it was worth bringing up here!

Can confirm. Massive boost here as well.

8700k
6650XT
1440p

Same settings for 100 FPS gave me 200 FPS in the lobby.

In-game went from ~55 FPS to consistently over 75 FPS.

How can you have 55 fps in the game?
Turn on FSR and disable all the stupid effects except texture quality.
I get an average of 100 fps on 9900k and 1080Ti in 1440p.

Can also confirm it works, at least for me it did.

Fixed the hitching and stuttering every three or four seconds that I was experiencing as well as improving frame timing and lessening the blow big team fights had on my performance. Tried it in one street brawl match so not a lot to go off of but definitely promising.

May also make me check out some of these mods!

I wondered the same, seems crazy to me but that's why I'm in these forums trying to find a solution.

As for FSR, the overhead incurred makes it perform worse than "stretch" for me. Like waaaay worse.

I'm thinking it might be a memory issue as my 8Go of VRAM and 16Go RAM are constantly pegged at max.

Mind you this is with all settings off or on low.

The fix I linked, enabling mods, must be doing something to mem allocation but that's just a guess.
