Dynamo Heal Channel Automatically Canceling

It's inconsistent, but there are times when I am channeling Dynamo heal and it gets automatically canceled immediately after casting. Unsure if it's a bug (could be a sensitive keyboard), but is there a way to figure out what's going on? A match where it happens once is 76994837.

If it's not a bug, a potential improvement could be to add a few ms of delay where the channel doesn't cancel.
 
Are you pressing 3 more than once when casting? Do you use a separate cancel key instead of the default spacebar?

Some heroes can now jump while channeling, like McGinnis during the ultimate or Dynamo during the heal. This moved the cancel key from the spacebar to the ability key itself. But now if you spam the key to cast immediately after a stun ends or just to make sure you casted it, you often cancel it by accident.

I do believe this have to be looked at because a separate cancel bind used to fix this, but these reworked abilities now override that behavior. It ended up forcing us to being attentive of not spamming keys, but only with some heroes and some specific channeling abilities.

In short: Custom cancel keys work for all channeled abilities in the game except for the ones that were reworked and moved from spacebar to same-key after the initial design/coding, it's bugged.

Heroes that didn't had the [same-key by default and forced] treatment work correctly as intended with whatever settings you prefer, like Mo and Krill with Burrow and Combo or Seven with Storm Cloud.

Some heroes don't even state that their ability is channeling or that you are able to cancel it, like Abram's Shoulder Charge. But they work correctly with all the settings as well, so this is just a visual issue.

Also Pocket's first ability (Barrage) get the cancel key correctly, but pressing jump or pressing crouch will cancel the ability just because, and only for pocket, only for Barrage. Also sliding while channeling Barrage was added recently, thing that is super cool, but the moment you stop holding crouch, it will cancel as well. This really needs to be lookd at, I think it's the peak symptom of this bug.

In the meantime I recommend Pocket players to only press the cast key ONCE, do it in the air, and don't press any other key while channeling, other than dash key, which was added at one of the reworks. The latest slide addition doesn't work at all and crouching will cancel your Barrage most of the time.
