I really LOVE the portraits in Deadlock, and Im already very happy with what we got, but I feel like Drifter’s portraits could be changed a tiiny bit:

Streak Portrait:
He only has one small line of blood going down, nothing on his teeth, and the hat doesn’t cast much of a shadow on his face (I know it should cast too much in that angle, but ...rule of cool I guess) The character is supposed to feel like a raw killing machine who doesn’t care about being clean, so the portrait feels a bit restrained compared to that vibe.
Because of that I tried making a small edit of the portrait (Im not good at drawing tho):
It also creates a nice contrast with Mina. Mina feels like the kind of vampire who actually cares about her appearance. She probably wipes her mouth after feeding or something.
Also, he already has dried blood stains on his shirt, so it wouldn’t feel weird if he had fresh blood around his mouth during a killstreak (to me at least).
A lot of players seem to agree with the idea of making the portrait more intense:

Critical Portrait:
I’ve also seen people say Drifter should be smiling in the critical portrait.
Personally I’m not sure about that. I actually like the idea that he gets serious or angry instead of smiling, since he already ALWAYS has a grin, it hits harder if he doesnt have it there.
But I did try a version where he shows teeth, and I think something like that could work for players who want a more aggressive expression.
Example discussion:
This is just small feedback that leaning a bit more into the raw / messy side of Drifter could make the killstreak portrait feel stronger, and I hope I am not being annoying. Good luck with the game and keep up the good work!

- more blood around the mouth
- slightly messier / more brutal look
- stronger shadow under his beret
