Lore: An archetypal mad scientist, Dr. Pretorius is obsessed with creation and reincarnation of life, making him a respected figure in a post-Maelstrom world. While famous for his contributions to the fields of Preformationism, Latrochemistry, and Medicinal Ritualism; as well as his career as a professor; he considered himself a failure for how far he still was from the Elixir of Life that Alchemists have sought for centuries.
When he heard stories of a living corpse wandering New York, he was ecstatic and left Switzerland within the hour. He knew many former students who were capable of such a feat and intended to beg, borrow, blackmail, or burgle the secrets from whichever one it was, preferably backed by the force of their own creation.
Based on the character Dr. Pretorius from Bride of Frankenstein with gameplay inspiration from TF2's Medic

1: Ravenous Homunculus - Throw a jar containing a failed experiment, dealing 40(x0.6) spirit damage in an AoE and reducing weapon resist by -20% for 8 seconds. On a direct hit, the creature latches onto the enemy, dealing 7.5(x0.2) spirit damage per second and further reducing weapon resist by -13%. Homunculus damage over time does not wake sleeping enemies. Radius: 6.5m. Cooldown: 12.
1: +2.5 direct hit dps. Direct hit also slows by 30% for the duration.
