The displayed DPS value of some heroes is incorrect/does not match their in game values. This specifically affects Abrams, Kelvin, Lady Geist, Mo & Krill, Pocket, Vindicta, and Yamato. In the case of Abrams and Mo & Krill the difference between the calculated and listed values is more drastic, misrepresenting their damage capabilities at a glance.
REPLICATION: Go to the "Heroes" section of the main menu, click an affected hero and check the listed DPS value, then enter hero sandbox and check the DPS value in the shop menu.
The causes aren't exactly known, however I am able to speculate for most. Below are listed the shotgun-style weapon heroes affected:
I suspect the values may be dropping the least signficant digit for Abrams and Yamato. I.E.:
Abrams - 9 * 4.6 * 1.7 = 70.3 (compared to 70 in game)
Yamato - 5 * 5.6 * 2.5 = 70 (== 70 in menu)
For Abrams, I am further assuming the calculation for DPS used in the menus is assuming 1 less pellet per shot. (63 / 1.7 / [4.68 or 4.6] = ~8)
Mo & Krill's discrepency is harder to determine, however Bullet Damage appears to be the smallest point of discrepency (74 / 5.6 / 4 = ~3.3)
The other heroes are as follows:
For Lady Geist and Vindicta, this appears to be a function of different roundings. This seems to be evidenced by their in game UI showing the listed value as Base and the rounding difference as a "Mod" (e.g. Vindicta - 70 Base + 1 Mod in the shop interface).
Despite this I have no idea where Kelvin's difference is coming from. His calculation is straightforward but shows as if his damage is also rounded up.
