Doorman's weapon dmg falloff is still calculated incorrectly when shooting through a door, even after being said to have been fixed in an old patch

Doorman's weapon damage when shooting through a door is calculated based on the distance between him and who he is shooting not the distance the bullet traveled. Despite being stated to have been fixed in a patch on November 21, 2025 ("Bullet damage falloff and effectiveness now use the actual distance traveled, rather than the distance between the starting position and end position.") this has not been fixed. The bug effects both damage and item buildup effectiveness (such as toxic bullets and silencer).
 
Yeah I think this caused a bug where all weapons in general did incorrect amounts of damage.

Either that or that fix for all the weapons also in turn broke this back too.

Basically this worked for a solid week or so after that patch.

I personally assumed they couldn't really make it work without bugs so they kept it reverted for now.
