Yeah, this is too far in the other direction, mind as well remove Bebop's ability to hook+punch people into spawn considering it's even easier to do that than cart someone through a door. Might be wishful thinking, but this may just be a band-aid due to how the doors behave, it's hard to imagine they don't understand how easy it is for other characters to throw people into spawn.
