Djinn's Mark doesn't proc Tankbuster

Yeah, I don't know if tankbuster has ever worked on Mirage. If it did, it hasn't in a long time. The item unironically doesn't do anything on Mirage. I don't think it is possible to trigger at all on him. To further note, mystic burst also can't proc on Djinn's Mark. This feels intentional, but it feels wrong since other damage threshold items such as Spirit Burn can proc from it.

Both Tankbuster (or as it was called back then - Improved burst), and Mystic burst did use to trigger on Mirage before the item rework.

Also, basically any other item already triggers on the Djinn mark, not only Spirit Burn but also Quick silver reload/merc mag, as well as anything that requires "Spirit damage" or "Ability hits" such as Healbane, Mystic Vul, etc.

Yeah, I just picked Spirit Burn as it was the closest to the damage gate that Tankbuster uses. It just feels weird to not have Burst and Tankbuster work, but mark allows everything else.
 
It's because it is flagged as damage over time to stop it from knocking people off the ziplines, so it is in fact not a bug.
1.Affliciton is a special case ability to not trigger ANY items, it says it in the tooltip.

2.Mystic burst/tankbuster require damage in an INSTANCE to trigger not PER SECOND, affliction visibly deals 2 ticks of damage per second (you can look at the timer at the top), so each tick would only be 41 damage and would not trigger burst.


3.Djinn mark was changed to be damage over time long before it stopped working with tankbuster. Again, this in fact worked before the item rework.

4.Damage over time abilities can actually, in fact, trigger tankbuster, if the damage they deal in an INSTANCE is greater than the needed threshold, so it wouldn't matter if it's a DOT in the first place:

you can have it not knock people off ziplines and proc tankbuster at the same time

just make tankbuster not knock people off ziplines, same with instance amps like pockets barrage

since they always come with a damage source that activated them, it wouldnt matter
 
Can confirm it is bugged, even mystic burst doesnt proc on him. I think it has to do with burst/tankbuster has to deal RAW 80/165 damage for it to proc, i tested on characters like paradox that has damage amp then buying escalating exposure and if the bomb doesnt deal 80/165 at the start it doesnt matter if the amp brings it up to the threshhold

Tankbuster and burst take the damage you deal before any amp and resist, this is intentional and can be found in patch notes.

However, it has nothing to do with abilities that can change their damage like Djinn mark.

Take Lash's slam for example, if the base damage is not high enough, Lash can still trigger it by adding damage when casting it from a higher place.

Again, Djinn mark was able to trigger mystic burst and Tankbuster fine before the item rework.

Also, djinn's mark cannot proc them even if a single stack of it deals enough damage, it doubly has nothing to do with it gaining more damage as you get stacks.
