Deception-Based "Faerie" Character?

I think all my favorite heroes in hero shooters have deception-based kits... think like holo-pilot in titanfall and spy in TF2. It would be awesome to have a deception/information hero in Deadlock, since I think it would add some fun spice to the game. Here's my idea so far:

Character Synopsis: Artemis Singer was a world-class game hunter and conservationist, until a deal gone wrong with a shady faerie resulted in her home town and her human body being consumed by their mischief. Now barely more than an animal on two legs and wanted by the faerie courts for kidnapping a high-ranking official and general disobedience, Singer leaves her home state of North Carolina and seeks to banish the faerie from her life, through the power of the patron...
I give full permission for developers to take liberties with her if needed. I'm not gonna act like I'm more of a Deadlock lore expert than the developers. As long as you keep the Carolinian part. There aren't enough badass Southern women in media as it stands xd

Damaging Ability: Sporting Clay. Throw some clay pigeons in a burst, much like Mirage's fire scarabs. These clays will explode into lingering spikes when shot, dealing damage to enemies walking over them. If enemies shoot them out of the sky first, they disappear.
The whole idea here is to have something to draw an enemy's attention, to help as an opener for the rest of her kit. Think of it like a ricoshot from Ultrakill... it gives a lot of utility for the tradeoff of it being high skill expression. That's a reocurring theme in her kit...

Movement Ability: Faerie Trail.
Vanish into a fairy ring and travel in a straight line relative to your camera for a set period of time, leaving behind a staggered trail of mushrooms and going airborne when the duration ends. You can steer your trajectory by looking in the direction you want to go. You cannot be harmed while traveling, but your movement is incredibly readable/predictable and can set you up for an easy kill if used as a panic button.
This is supposed to be an ability that lets you vanish around corners and sneak through chokepoints, catching your enemy off guard. This is all meant to complement the character's utility ability.

Utility Ability: Smoke & Mirrors. Drop a cloud of smoke at your feet. Activate the ability again to summon a clone of yourself in the smoke cloud, or cancel it to extend the cloud's duration. This clone copies your movements and melee attacks, but can't do much else. This clone will dissipate if a burst damage threshold is reached or when it gets too close to an enemy. (think maybe strong melee attack to prevent the case where people just can't destroy the clone). The clone gives the caster a gun buff that scales inversely with the time it was alive (This is to reward convincing plays and to discourage enemies spraying into the smoke cloud to just kill the clone the second it spawns).
I don't have much game design experience and I know this is a big difference compared to other "ghost clone" type characters, but I think this would promote a unique playstyle. Having to convince your enemy your clone IS real instead of convincing them you aren't is a cool idea. Probably a nightmare to balance properly (can't have the enemy NOT want to shoot the clone, lol) but it's just a concept. Doesn't need to be verbatim, just the smoke+clone would be interesting enough.

Ultimate Ability:
Distilled Wrath. Unleash a powerful blast of Faerie energy sealed in a bottle, turning your enemies into deer. Deerified enemies gain increased, but slippery mobility and lose access to their weapons and spells. "The hunt is on!"
This would probably have a fast startup, since this character's made to be a good bit weaker at closer ranges. It's supposed to cover that gap in her moveset while still making it a significant weakness, a la Bebop's hyper beam.

Let me know if y'all have any thoughts. ESPECIALLY about the mirror clone ability. That one needs some workshopping.
