Deadlock refuses to start unless i turn off VPN.

In my country, Discord VOIP is completely blocked by the two respective government ISPs, i have no choice but to use a VPN with split tunnelling in order to voice chat, but Deadlock refuses to start, instead it's stuck on the black screen with the game's logo spinning forever.
 
Discord is crap anyway,
You can use ingame voip and limit your voice to just your party which achieves same result as discord voip outside of the game.

I'm not a good player, how tf would i be smurfing? Every goddamn game i play has smurfs in low rank, wtf do you want me to do? I don't know how you get better by watching replays so i don't see what's so funny about me joining forum for first time to find a fix only to be told "don't use discord" when every single fucking one of you people use it.

It isn't your fault. I agree with you. Smurfing and cheaters have become a huge deal in deadlock. Google deadlock hacks, there is literally pages and pages of them. Most of them have ID and hardware masks built into them now too. It is unfortunate, for honest players and for players in overly strict countries. :/

It could require a notice number of resources. But it might be an option for you, if you aren't able to resolve it any other way. Or valve doesn't offer a solution. Another thought, could you use your cellar device with a headset attached (wire or Bluetooth) and run discord from it separately? Would be silly and annoying to listen to two different audios from two different device sources. But it is an option until a more permanent one it offered.

I agree. I don't mind offering reasonable help or opinions, but using a VPN to play a video game typically means only like two of three times.
 
At the very least how your character works and how to use it. Try out builds. Then pray to matchmaker you are not always put against smurfing eternus players.

I am literally being put with new players vs those with thousands of hours, evenn if i stick to one character (which btw i have been playing pocket since before 2024 christmas), how does this fix the fact that nobody knows how to play carry? i get told not to blame team but what the fuck am i supposed to do if my teammate is feeding? Enemy team has more networth thankks to kills, i can't even comfortably macro between lanes, boxes, and jungle.
