Deadlock crashing so much if is impossible to continue playing it

The game is currently crashing beyond playable, this begun for me since the release of the new characters, the latest one, I'm not sure why this is happening, I have seen multiple crash over the game, per game I usually crash 4 times, I have seen other people crashing as well at the same time.

I change the resolution, the monitor where I play, the graphics preset, anything, nothing has been working so far, there's any trigger, the only thing I have saw that It only happen once in the lobby and my friend also crashed.

[I CAN'T UPLOAD THE .MDMP FILES WITH THE CRASH ANALYSIS BECAUSE IT SAYS IS NOT SUPPORTED GOING TO USE NOTEPAD]

I agree with the title
Deadlock is the only game that crashes consistently for me even without mods
I've tested every nvidia driver options, updated Windows 11 OS and Nvidia drivers changed graphics settings, tested with eco mode for both GPU and CPU nothing works for the crash

Been having the exact same experience, the worst part is a game that I love to play with my friends, So it's not a game that I'm quitting because I don't like it, it's because I literally can play without screwing other people game (Imagine having a teammate that DC in middle of team fight or random every 3 minutes to 10)... Is really awful.

Or having someone DC on the enemy team. DCing just makes the whole game feel bad. I never win a 6v5 and am like "NICE! that felt very good! I really feel like that was a fair fight that I won by skill or clever tactics!"

Just ruins the whole experience.

You're 10000% right my dude, IT feels like that. And darn... I really hope the devs check this, I'm like willing to give them all the information of my pc to give them the chance of make a full diagnostic. I just want that my game goes like it was before.

78280377 This is the ID of my last game. I analyze the DMP files and I think the issue it may be coming from the Windows DVR and the interactions with some Overlays and also issues with the server.

Tons of us are also having the same issue. I also have an i9 and NVIDIA RTX 4070 Super. Exact same crashes. Every one to two minutes sometimes, even in Street Brawl. I've tried everything, including undervolting my GPU. No other game crashes at all, but Deadlock is unplayable.

This other thread might be of interest to you, to see if your error code is the same as ours:
[Crash] RTX 5090 — Deterministic NULL deref in materialsystem2.dll +0x26E6E (DX11)

Even worse I am one of the people constantly DCing and I keep getting temporary bans from DCing and not being able to get back in or the game finishes after I DC. I currently have a one day ban because of this.

we have another thread going of people possibly sorting it out. A few people said updating their motherboard helped. Didnt help me much at all though. apparently its something in the console called prediction time (insert number) is less than sim time (insert number). It will spam pop up and then network disconnect you.

Thank you so much for your answer, I found out a solution, At least for the moment, it took my a while, forcing the Dx11 in the Steam Attribute for launching, that solved the issue for me.

it's literally placing -dx11

the updating the MB a friend told me that was a possible solution, At the very least from my end the enforcing the -dx11 and low graphs and using Nvidia DLSS has fixed it SO FAR for me. Thank you so much for commenting Elijah!

this has been happening to my friend with a similar cpu, what he did was throttle the cpu to under 5ghz and the game hasn't crashed in a couple days. it seems to be something with source 2, if you can run cs2 and cant run deadlock then this isnt a fix, but if cs2 crashes as well it will be a source 2 issue. if you try and put low power mode on through power management settings and the game opens and wont crash then your cpu being over 5.0 ghz causes a "accessviolation" crash dump.

It's so simple it seems crazy, but after reading this thread, I updated my BIOS and placed -dx11 in the launch options. It's now been two days without a crash. Thank you so much! I hope this helps the other people having issues too.
