Dash Reload

The general idea would be that you can hit Reload during the dash-jump window (ie, when the Stamina bar turns blue), and in exchange for some amount of stamina, you perform an instant reload (similar to active reload, but as opposed to simply being a cooldown, you tie it to stamina spend).

Instant Reloads are very potent, so I see potential for an item like this to become oppressive if the stamina cost isn't tuned right. I think it would carve an interesting niche if consuming the instant reload inhibited stamina usage in some way until the next reload, making it a more situational item for characters who wouldn't mind losing some mobility in exchange for sustained fire.

If it wanted to fit into the game w/o a strong drawback Could function as an upgrade to kinetic dash and sit at a higher pricepoint, acting as a luxury upgrade for characters who already enjoy kinetic.
 
I like this idea, but I fear that it might be slightly too niche looking at the roster. Who would you think would purchase this besides Haze?
 
I feel that the goal of an item like this isn't to be best in slot for a slim number of characters, but to be an alternative to quicksilver reload/active reload for players who want to be able to sustain fire in a fight. I think that, depending on how its implemented, any character who's grounded while they're fighting *could* make use of it, and it'd be at the discretion of the player whether the associated stamina penalty is worth it for them.

Similarly, depending on what colour item this is, it's viability changes. ATM there's Weapon reload items (Active Reload, Melee Charge), and a Spirit reload item (Quicksilver Reload) but nothing in Vitality, where perhaps this item could fall. Perhaps on certain characters this item would be more of a nuisance to play around than say quicksilver reload, but a character like seven might appreciate having an extra purple slot available before flex slots.

Depending on the specifics of what category it is and the cost, I could see myself building an item like this on Warden, Seven, Dynamo, Infernus, McGinnis, Mo&Krill, Pocket and Haze, as you mentioned. I think some of those characters have abilities that let them cover their reload time (Infernus, Pocket, Mo&Krill) and some are natural quicksilver reload builders (Infernus, McGinnis, Seven), but I still believe some players would enjoy playing around using their stamina to meet their reload needs.

Seven during 3rd skill, Ivy, Yamato, just to name a few that'd love to use this item.

I mean, if you stack Glass Cannon, Tesla Bullets, Active Reload and this new Dash Reload on Seven 3rd with maxed spirit damage bonuses too, this thing could SHRED teams... maybe, hmm...

When dashing, press Reload during the dash-jump window to instantly refill 40% of your magazine and gain some boosts. This cannot be done while already reloading.

Instead of reloading the whole thing, it only reloads a portion, and must be done without already reloading, to prevent it interfering with Active Reload much. Plus, it takes a more movement and pick-class type mentality as opposed to the sustain and action type of Active Reload, and definitely fits for chasing and finishing enemies best.
