The general idea would be that you can hit Reload during the dash-jump window (ie, when the Stamina bar turns blue), and in exchange for some amount of stamina, you perform an instant reload (similar to active reload, but as opposed to simply being a cooldown, you tie it to stamina spend).
Instant Reloads are very potent, so I see potential for an item like this to become oppressive if the stamina cost isn't tuned right. I think it would carve an interesting niche if consuming the instant reload inhibited stamina usage in some way until the next reload, making it a more situational item for characters who wouldn't mind losing some mobility in exchange for sustained fire.
If it wanted to fit into the game w/o a strong drawback Could function as an upgrade to kinetic dash and sit at a higher pricepoint, acting as a luxury upgrade for characters who already enjoy kinetic.
