Crate Cosplay

I think having an item that allows for you to turn yourself into a crate/box or golden statue for a short period of time would be cool.

It would allow for moments of outplay by misdirecting the enemy, while also allowing for you to ambush an enemy that gets near.

EXAMPLE
Crate Cosplay - Tier 1 Vitality
+5% Bullet Resist
+5% Spirit Resist
ACTIVE
Turn into a crate or statue gaining Bullet Shield, Spirit Shield, and Reduced Movement Speed. Whenever you take damage you return to normal.
Cooldown: 30s
Duration: 10s
50 Bullet Shield
50 Spirit Shield
-90% Movement Speed

As much as I like the idea, I just don't see it working out, as people gun down and smash any crates and statues they come by. I think this type of trick only has value in a game where you don't turn into something people usually destroy for loot.

It would be way more fun if the item turned a crate or statue into a mimic, or in this case a booby trap that blows up in a players face when they destroy it. Still silly and still very situational.

While it’s a fun idea, it would likely be quite situational. Since players tend to shoot destructible props on sight, it could only be effectively used when fleeing.
Even then, there are better options, such as Shadow Weave (although a late-game upgrade). Additionally, there’s the issue that it could only be used in specific locations, as not all places have those props, making it rather obvious if you’re hiding there.

Maybe it could transform you into one of those green ghost pigeons instead? That way, you could still move around without appearing as unnatural. (Although they might be even rarer to spot in most of the locations... )

I think the item would have a lot of use in casual matches and unranked. High-tier play would def counter this. Perhaps it could function similar to Neeko in LoL. When you stand next to applicable objects you can become one of those objects. It would at least change things up a bit. It does sound fun tho!
