Crashing during Hero Select screen

So this is a new one - ive been playing DL since the calico update with zero crash issue - but now my game will crash reliably when i open up the hero select screen. So far it happens exclusively on Brawl, but I will check the other two and update this.
Usually 5-15 seconds into opening that screen

update 1 - ok I got it to crash on the other screens - additionally the game crashed as I was waiting for in the queue - just moving around the hideout.

So I updated my drivers and did some work that was recommended to me by other people on the forums - but my game still crashes every time before I can get into a match, mostly on the hero select screen.

It's tough that this is coming just a new heroes come out and I am just completely boxed out of the game now.
