After launching game, both solo and in party, the game crashes when connecting to a match. Loading icon is present in center of screen and then game fully quits. Drivers were reinstalled, game files verified, and continues to crash before able to enter match. However, the game still recognizes that i have connected, as it prompts me to reconnect on reboot, but still fails during load. This has led to my account being banned for leaving matches even as I am unable to enter them in the first place when troubleshooting. This issue was not present as of 3-05-2026, but happened after the 3-06-2026 update.

Got the exact same bug, searching for solutions right now through all platforms with no real solution. I tried deleting gamecache file, unistalling, moving game location and changing the citadel file.

Recently joined my second match of the day, then bit by bit my game started to lag client side, thought it was just me with my dumb mods, but the paradox in my team also randomly disconnected for a short time, and later on my game did as well. I Had to restart my system because the game wouldn't run, and steam as well??? (steam would just quickly update then, not?, and when clicked again it would update "again") Managed to return to a dead match in which the enemy drifter said that he was also facing performance issues. I just hope it wasn't my mods that were causing the issues (just skins and sound changes). still a bit sad about my temp ban

I had a similar issue where the game struggles to run after the recent patches but before March I could play without any issues. Now I can't even spectate games without the game crashing.
