Crash when entering the party lobby

When I join a party, or when someone joins my party, the game crashes, despite the crash on my side, I still remain visible in my friends' lobby.

System Information:

OS: Linux Mint

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Lite Hash Rate

CPU: 11th Gen Intel i5-11400F (12) @ 4.40GHz

DE: Cinnamon 6.4.6

Kernel: 6.8.0-51-generic

Proton: Ge-proton10-12

have the same issue, i was playing with this friend yesterday in a big party where neither of us were the host, now we are trying to join each other today and we both crash, we both tried hosting

Okay, I’m not sure if that’s exactly the issue, but if you have custom graphics settings, the game won’t let you into the lobby. However, if you select the basic graphics settings (the one where you just move the slider and the settings adjust automatically), the error disappears. I tested this myself — if the checkbox for the basic graphics settings is unchecked and you apply your own changes, the game won’t let you into the lobby.

I had the same issue in Bazzite 41, the problem was the audio. I selected the right input and unchecked the box "Open mic" in "Voice Chat (PARTY)"
