Cosmo, AKA Moon-Man, is an over the top 1950's rendition of a charismatic space ranger.
Entitled. Arrogant. Wannabe.
A showman at heart but a failure in reality. During the dawn of space travel, Moon-Man, a once shoddy actor is tasked with being the Poster-Boy of the upcoming Space Age Propaganda! Idolized by none, Cosmo has never felt an ounce of stardom. On his path to glory, Cosmo has stumbled at every twist and turn. Though this never stopped him from attempting to being Earth's greatest actor! With a personality only a mother could love, Cosmo isn't at all afraid of stepping on anything or anyone in his path to fame. Cosmo's journey to the top has been short lived and filled with constant blunders. Nothing to be proud of. But, his time to shine is now! Recently casted as "The Moon-Man" for a paper advertisement showcasing The United States interest in Space Travel, Cosmo will do whatever it takes to reach the stars! The annoyingly cocky Cosmo will now take center stage and embody his role as "Moon-Man!" Shortly after starting the lines between character and actor started blurring. Who really was Moon-Man? Who really was Cosmo? Was there any difference at all? Becoming this character was much more than a simple role. It overtook Cosmo's life. Even after shooting, Cosmo would wear the Space-Ranger attire, pretending to be the Moon-Man at all hours. The role consumed him completely. Staring into anything with a reflection, admiring himself for hours on end. What was once a simple job, soon took on a life of it's own. Soon, he and the world would learn what it is to truly be the "Moon-Man."
Cosmo's main motivation is to achieve world popularity. Overtaking everyone and everything. Becoming the man of the people he truly wants to be. Moon-Man.
The Moon-Man is a Spirit Burst Character. Capable of leading his team to victory by using his viscous Astral Orbs.

Abilities
1.) Astral Projection - Moon-Man has orbital lines that surround him. "Astral Orbs" follow the path of the lines. As he does damage, orbs appear. They grow larger until they are at their max size. The size of the orbs determine how much damage is dealt. Enemies who run into the orbs are hurt for 1/5th of the orbs damage. Orbs slowly generate over time, growing in size. Astral Orbs spawn at a very small size, dealing 15 spirit damage per hit. They grow up to 85% of their starting size, increasing their damage output to a maximum of 100.
When used, Moon-Man send his orbs in a straight line dealing damage to Enemies in their path. With each level up, Moon-Man gains an additional ring of Orbit / Additional Projectile. Allowing for one more Astral Orb to spawn. (Max 4) (Increase Max per Level - 4,5,6)
[Level 1] +1 Astral Orb
[Level2] +1 Astral Orb, Astral Orbs Size +10%
[Level 3] +1 Astral Orb, Astral Orb Direct hits Slow Enemy Movement and Fire Rate -10%
2.) Astral Protection - Moon-Man uses his astral orbs to absorb damage. Redirecting a portion of damage dealt to the nearest enemy. Only a portion of damage dealt is done to Moon-Man. (35%) Astral Orbs are held as a wall in front of Moon-Man during this time. Enemies are able to destroy Astral Orbs during this time by shooting them doing enough damage to destroy them. Larger Orbs take more damage to destroy.
[Level 1] After Use, Astral Protection Grants +75HP Barrier
[Level 2] On Use, +10% Movement Speed
[Level 3] Orbs Damaged by an Enemy launch towards the enemy instead.
3.) Astral Thrust - Moon-Man thrusts upwards into the air. Moon-Man uses orbs as a propulsion measure capable of redirecting his trajectory by aiming away from the enemies. Orbs sent flying away are capable of damaging enemies, while also boosting Moon-Man in the desired direction. The more orbs held, the further Moon-Man can fly. Each Orb launches individually behind Moon-Man over the course of the flight. The duration ends based on how many orbs are being used during Astral Thrust.
[Level 1] Astral Launch initial lift off vertical height +20%
[Level 2] Horizontal Movement Increased by +15%
[Level 3] Moon-Man can hold a Teammate while Astral Thrusting
4.) Astral Purge - Moon-Man calls upon the stars and planets, instantly refilling all of his orbs, then sending a powerful onslaught of large astral projectiles towards enemies. Moon-Mine rises up, stationary as he aims a large line of projectiles that rain down from above. The final Projectile is a large meteor, stunning any enemy hit directly with it. Enemies hit by the Astral Purge take increased damage for 5s.
[Level 1] Projectiles refilled by Astral Purge start at their max size
[Level 2] Meteor's Position can be influenced by Moon-Man.
[Level 3] Astral Purge splash damage slows all enemies hit.
Ultimate Voice Lines -
Friendly Moon-Man:
"Look out! A Shooting Star!"
"Take to the Cosmos!"
Enemy Moon Man:
"Meteor Shower!"
"Total Eclipse!"
I have no art to showcase this idea sadly.
Would love and appreciate feedback. Want to flesh this character out way more. This was what I could achieve in an hour.
Any ideas welcome. (P.S, I need help figuring out how he got his powers.)
