I returned after a 2 hour ban for disconnecting just before the end of a game. Coming back after the ban time had passed I started a new game and about 2 minutes in it crashed and I got a message saying something like " fatal error caused by a corrupted Citadel pak file" .
I tried to verify the integrity of the files but the validating process was stuck at 0% for a couple minutes. So I restarted steam and tried to verify the integrity of the files again and it seemed to work. I reloaded the game and was given the option to abandon or rejoin the session, I chose rejoin and the game crashed immediately before it could even start loading me into the session. I had to restart steam, again, to verify the files and when I went to join again I had a 6 hour ban. Cant even play with bots....
If this isn't fixed and I keep crashing will the ban time just keep escalating? It should not be possible to get banned for rejoining a session and crashing before the session is even loaded.
