Connection to Asia server has been significantly worse recently (from Australia)

When I first started playing Deadlock I was getting a consistent 140 ping from the Asian server. Lately though I've been getting around 180 with frequent lag spikes as high as 290, making the game virtually unplayable. It doesn't seem to be on my end as I've connected to the NA server without any of these issues.

Do a traceroute, check hops ask your ISP if something changed in routing to Asian servers( i dunno where they are located). Seems like an ISP problem

Been having the same issues @AJ_27. Was around 140, sometimes a little lower. Recently it's insanely high, I had a match last night where it was steadily stuck at 540ms, didn't drop or go up. Was basically no reason to continue playing at that point, but I stayed to catch an easy L

im getting the same thing, I should be connecting to syd but it connects me to sgp

try pressing F7 and opening the console. Then type "citadel_region_override 5" but with no quotation marks. This should force your connection to OCE servers
