Australia/Oceania Server Issues

About a week ago i started getting a steady and consistent 130 ping in every deadlock lobby. not unplayable but cant really hit orbs or aim in general.

I tested a few different things and think it is a server side issue. the ping never changes or fluctuates. Iv been using bot matchs to confirm, as they are server side hosted.

The ping is consistent across multiple computers. a separate PC with a different steam account is getting the same results from this network.
Iv swapped the router to a spare i had around and its the same result.
Regular internet usage and ping tests come back normal.
I also tested other games to see what ping was like across multiple tittles. every valve made game i tested had the same issue (TF2, Dota2, Deadlock)
Non valve games had intended ping and ran fine.

Considering its not isolated to 1 PC, or 1 Router, but is isolated to valve online games, i feel pretty confident that valve servers might be having some issues.

This is all when trying to connect to specifically the Sydney servers. The ping for hongkong or other regions is normal (130 - 150)

Not sure much can be done but hoping this gets the Sydney servers some attention if they are running non optimally.
If anyone has a fix or is having the same issue, please comment.

Cheers

i have ranked available but have not played a ranked match yet. ranked and this issue kinda happened around the same time so i have a suspicion they are linked.

I've been having this issue as well and it seems to be a hop for TPG, Optus and Telstra users right next to the Valve servers. Called TPG Support and they just told me "It's telstra's problem".
Valve may be able to get in touch, because I think the hop is part of their network structure.

Thank you so much for letting me know. That more or less confirms what i just found out as well.

Had friends in my area all run tests as well and they all came back normal.
I tried connecting to a deadlock match using my phone as a hotspot, and that had normal ping (30)
straight up, that probably ruled out valve servers having an issue so my last suspect was my net provider/telstra.

15 minutes after i finish testing i get your comment blaming telstra aswell. thank you for validating me hahaha.
Im with iinet and i just assume that every company in Australia uses telstra for connection so i dont think they will help much but il give them a call latter and see what can be done. hopefully this can be fixed sooner than latter. cheers.

Interested to see how you go, there seems to be just about no way for us to fix this ourselves.
