Computer Shut down during gameplay

Up until today I had no issues playing for several hours until literally right now when it just seized up and then the whole system shut down. Thankfully nothing seems to be broken.
Temps are also fine.

Reply to show this isn't just you, my computer fans were still running and I could still hear discord but my screens were not reconnecting to the pc and a full restart was required.

Lowering a bit graphic settings and creating a more conservative profile for the GPU (undervolting+underclocking, 3080) solved the issue and stabilized the game for me at the cost of 10-15 fps.

I could not replicate the crashes and reboots outside of the game and the system passed stress tests, maybe try an external stress test (Furmark, OCCT) just to be sure your system is stable and it is just a Deadlock related problem like it was for me.

My friend has exactly same Issue. Both monitors go black, he can hear us in discord and talk to us, but the game sound is dead and monitors won't turn back on without restarting PC. We checked everything. Temps seem to be normal, GPU stress tests don't cause similar issue. Like @k4iser.88 we also undervolted and underclocked rtx 3070 and lowered settings a bit. So far the issue has disappeared. Glad to find out that this is likely caused by the game and not hardware issue itself.

I had some strange screen glitches before which I have never got any other game with my current computer in two years. This glitch made me having stripes/lines in this game. If I alt-tabed I didnt have these outside of the game. Or if I changed resolution it also helped. I had windowed fullscreen. After changing to fullscreen it havent happened again.

From what I've read this seems to be issue related to AMD CPUs, fortunately my system is fast enough to get back into the game with minimal disruptions
