"Comms restricted" doesn't clarify which comms are restricted

Are pings restricted? Voice? "Missing" calls?

And if pings are restricted, that's definitely a bug.

Nah, you can also abuse pings. I do think ping abuse should probably be separated from comms abuse, or maybe a higher severity system for comm abusers.

How is it abuse to use the pause feature to pause gameplay, to do something outside of the game? That's literally the point in a pause feature

I pause the game to congratulate my team. If I'm "abusing" the pause then why not get a pause ban and not a comms ban. Use your head and stop being one of those butthurt players.

Literally what I said - I pause the game when we knew we were going to win. I get on comms to congratulate my team and the other team reports me for being a good teammate. Instead of a pause ban I get a comms ban. It is just dumb.

You realize you can type after you win, right? Or even if you're daring, right before you win? All the enemy team saw was a team beat them, but in order to waste their time further and prevent them from moving on, forced a pause just to type. You absolutely had it coming

That is not abusing the communication feature, so him being reported for comms abuse makes 0 sense. At worst it's pause abuse (oh no, 30 seconds!) and that's a griefing report, not abusive comms.
