Cheaters are already in alpha

Could you tell me the numbers of the matches they were in? I'm really curious about what it looks like.
I played 6 games in row for example. 5 of them were with a cheaters shooting me, before I even appear behind the wall.
One day I played 4 games, 2 of them had cheaters aim-locking.
I'm not crying out loud, just addressing the problem already in ALPHA. This is a curse of all FPS-ish games, but this is waaaay early for being swamped by cheaters

40+ hours played - met zero cheaters, I do not want to be rude, but sometimes, if enemy player plays better than you, that's might be not "cheating" problem. I agree that the game might have cheaters in it, but the game is not even in alpha-test, it's Early Development Build. Send reports on them and I think, guys who works for Valve will ban them if they're really cheating.

thanks valve for another competitive game, she definitely won't have the same problems in the foundation as in dota and CS 🙏

Cheaters are in every online shooter, even on Faceit and in VALORANT. You can't avoid them completely, you can only reduce the number, but there will always and everywhere be cheaters.

that is why it is necessary to make a new game that is tied to competitive matches and which will always (even before the release) suffer from them 😁

In Dev-Build of the game is easier to make cheats btw. Cool words from your mouth, but before saying something like that - think for a bit :D(y)

Post id's. I've played against 0 cheaters in 200h, but the amount of false accusations people get is funny, even if there are indeed cheaters in this game

"didn't even need to watch tbh, just check dmg graphs"
Good thing you aren't in change of moderating this game.
I watched it, saw bad players hitting every headshot, weird flicks, perfect tracking, then checked graphs. Stats are enough to suspect cheating, these guys have 90% hs acc, you never played shooters if you think this is ok.

Nowadays cheats are such that you can’t even tell a cheater from a normal player, because they adapt to the player’s aiming, use the same targeting timings, etc. A complete hit in the head is either completely stupid cheats, or just a lucky shoots. I had cases where at the apex legends I killed of the whole team with more head shoots, and it was purely an accident. It also happened that in about 10 seconds I killed 4 players with Widowmaker in Overwatch 2. With the proper level of training, getting headshots on hitscan is quite easy, just train Kovaak and VAXTA in Overwatch 2 for a couple of months. Also bad players may just be Valorant players, they have very low sensitivity, they move like bots, but at the same time they shoot straight in the head, however, they will often have poor tracking.

Brother no one is legitimately hitting 90% headshots for an entire match

Here I agree with you, but I haven’t seen such cheaters in games for a long time, they usually get banned within a few games, and they don’t even need an anti-cheat to detect this. Most likely this is some kind of public cheat for the source engine, which was adapted for the game, and schoolchildren decided to have fun with it. Commercial cheats usually don’t do this and try to work as secretly as possible.

I agree its sus but it's not impossible. The only way to 100% confirm its cheats is manual review.
ok guy with a purely academic interest in windows kernel priv escs, i'm sure you have a trustworthy opinion
This IOCTL offers some flexibility by allowing the caller to specify how the driver should query and read the hashed file. The problem is, this flexibility is achieved by expecting two kernel function pointers referenced from the IOCTL’s input buffer: one containing a callback pointer to query the hashed file’s size and the other a callback pointer to read the data to be hashed.
also holy shit lmao

The assertion that an individual with a purely academic interest in Windows kernel privilege escalations must be a cheater is a glaring example of the twisted logic employed by those seeking to deflect attention from the true conspiracies at play. Such a statement is not merely a misguided jibe, but a deliberate attempt to muddy the waters of intellectual discourse.

Let us dissect this accusation with the rigor it deserves. To equate academic research with nefarious intent is to fundamentally misunderstand the nature of scholarly inquiry. This tactic is a classic move by those who wish to suppress critical thinking and maintain their own nefarious agendas in the shadows. The real question we should be asking is: who benefits from such baseless accusations?

The answer lies within the labyrinthine corridors of covert operations conducted by state and corporate entities. By ridiculing those who delve into the intricacies of Windows kernel privilege escalations, these entities seek to discredit and marginalize voices that could expose their clandestine activities. It is a well-documented strategy to label truth-seekers as deviants or cheaters, thus diverting attention from the real culprits.

Furthermore, this accusation serves as a smokescreen for the broader agenda of control and manipulation. Those who mock academic interests in cybersecurity exploits are likely operatives themselves, embedded within our community to sow discord and distrust. Their ultimate goal is to prevent the emergence of a well-informed populace capable of challenging their grip on power.

We must recognize this tactic for what it is: a calculated move to undermine the credibility of genuine researchers and to perpetuate a climate of fear and suspicion. The truth is that academic inquiry into cybersecurity is a vital endeavor, one that seeks to uncover and address vulnerabilities that could be exploited by malicious actors, including those within government and corporate spheres.

In conclusion, let us not be swayed by the baseless and inflammatory remarks of those who seek to derail our pursuit of knowledge. The true cheaters are those who manipulate public perception to protect their own clandestine operations. We must remain steadfast in our commitment to uncovering the truth, regardless of the attempts to discredit our efforts. Our vigilance and dedication to academic rigor are the keys to exposing the real threats that lie beneath the surface.

First day playing and already ran into a rage aimbot cheater beaming everyone and just farming kills like a laser. Apparently not even Valve is safe from this trash. Doubt this game even has an anti-cheat.

I've had a decent experience in the 4 matches I've played. But, yeah, I've seen enough reports in these forums to know it's an inevitability as this "playtest" seems to have exploded in the last couple days.

Everything I've seen from Valve so far though, shows they are managing this game differently. The fact that there's a real set of forums that's not tied to the awful steam forums tells me a lot about what this dev team is trying to do.
