Charlotte [Trapper - Teleporter - Tied Up]​

ADVANTAGES: Quick map travel and mixed damage potential
DISADVANTAGES: Requires careful, careful setup and positioning; lacks effective escape tools

Weapon - Sew & Stitch [Rapid Fire - Mid Range]​

A low-damage, high-ammo gun that fires sewing needles.

Abilities​

(1) Yarn Ball​

Throw a ball of yarn that bounces and rolls if it hits the ground. Enemies hit take spirit damage and are very briefly immobilized.
[+1] Increased damage.
[+2] Applies slow.
[+5] Lowered cooldown and Yarn Balls that hit Buttons & String tripwires are bounced towards nearby enemies automatically.

(2) Buttons & String​

Place down two buttons, acting as a hard-to-see tripwire. Anybody who passes through takes a chip of spirit damage, is slowed, and loses fire rate.
[+1] Enable ability charges and increased slow.
[+2] Extra tripwire length and lowered cooldown.
[+5] Tripwire disarms instead of reducing fire rate.

(3) Resonating Nails [1 Charge]​

A precise projectile that deals mild spirit damage and attaches a nail to an enemy. Enemies with a nail take tiny hits of spirit damage whenever you fire your gun, regardless of range.
[+1] Nails reduce healing.
[+2] Hitting Resonating Nails refunds 25% of its cooldown. Hitting an NPC refunds an extra 25%.
[+5] Increased damage and better spirit scaling.

(4) Puppet [1 Unique Charge]​

One "special" charge, like Rem's helpers. Using it places down a static copy of yourself that your team can see on the map. Clicking this copy on the map will make you swap places with it, putting the ability on cooldown. Copies have 50% of your health, and deal 50% of your current health while applying a momentary healbane if they're destroyed.
[+1] Lowered cooldown and Barrier upon swapping.
[+2] +1 charge and destroyed copies only deal 25% of your health.
[+5] Copies reveal enemies within 25m on the map.

Background​

Charlotte is the last person you'd expect to see on any sort of battlefield. No true faction, no true agenda, and minimal natural powers. Young enough to have lots of life ahead of her; old enough to know better than to jump into anything foolish. But there are some things that can only be done by jumping into something foolish.

This dollmaker has made many a puppet and toy in her time, and yet one design still eludes her; a childhood doll, taken away from her in her early teens. She has obsessed over the one taken from her too soon, the years of play taken away from her. Unfortunately, the past does not have a lost & found... but perhaps something else does?

Character Interactions​

  • Finds both Mo and Rem as "adorably plushy-like." Both are happy with this. Krill is a little annoyed.
  • Trying to be polite, but deeply admires Victor's craftsmanship.
  • Similarly fond of the work on Kelvin's parka, Holliday's scarf, Paige's sweater, and The Doorman's entire outfit.
  • Half-sympathizes with Lady Geist, but doesn't think she'd fall into the same hole. You don't have to stay young forever, you just have to stay young for a while.
  • Obligatory voice line about Calico and Yarn Balls.

Additional Notes​

Name is simultaneously from "Frozen Charlotte," a type of doll, and Charlotte's Web. It doesn't show in her moves, but she might be a liiittle bit spidery.
