WETWORK (Healer, Tank, Martyr)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Backstory:
Fausta Rodrigez was a bright and cheery 21-year-old girl from Spain. She had a gift for magic and its investigation, she also loved tinkering with technology and was the village’s handywoman. While for the people around her it came as no surprise, she was lucky enough to have been accepted for an internship at Fairfax Industries in New York. It was the opportunity of a lifetime! Sadly, three months after moving to North America, she went missing out of the blue, and quickly, the case went cold...
(Due to her incredibly gifted magical nature, she was able to withstand even the most occult, forbidden magicks, which was too good of a chance to pass up for Fairfax. A body like hers could be modified, transformed into the perfect weapon, a mix of man, machine, and pure magic. Their efforts to erase all her memories were not totally successful, but they gave her the utmost desire to serve the company. It was a great opportunity after all, not everyone gets the chance to use a magic so sweet and dangerous as this. That’s how Subject: F-04 was born.)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Character concept:
She kinda follows the sci-fi trope of "person who can withstand x so she becomes a tool of the powerful", like mecha pilots and such. But it’s regarding experimentation with black magic and technology, trying to create a perfect killing machine with what they have in the deadlock world. She would like being a tool due to the mindwashing, but also due to the opportunity to use top technology and forbidden magic. In her broken state, she would become pretty masochistic, hurting herself to help others with dark magic, or just taking hits or doing evil things for them, a twist on her caring and kind nature.
She is basically the "edgy support", kinda like Pyke or Thresh in League of Legends, having mostly utility abilities, but looking edgy.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Character design:
Pretty tall for a girl. Pale, lanky, with a wide frame, and ill-looking, wasn’t always this way.
Her more defining traits are having rune circle tattoos and other magic sigils along her body. They look carved, but are a deep black; her right mechanical arm, and a hook on her left arm (still has hand, it’s like, on the arm, not on the hand). Could have more mechanical traits, like tubes on her body, enhancements to legs, etc.
Wears a tank top to show visible sigil tattoos on body, especially the magic circle on her back. Has pants, could be ripped. Has a Hannibal-like metal mask. Has long, unkempt brown hair. Her body is full of scars.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kit:
Gun: "Yugo"
A double cannon above her right arm, very slow fire rate, but quick reload (when she reloads, she hits the Goku powering up pose with her arms and her tattoos light up). Each time she hits an enemy, she heals a small amount (2 HP maybe).
Ability 1: Chains
She shoots her hook 25 meters away; if it hits an enemy, he will stay chained (can’t run away from her past 25 meters). Enemies can drag you when they reach the length limit, but you can drag them too. This state lasts for 4 seconds; you can keep shooting your gun with a chained enemy. If you recast 1 while in the chain state, you will recover the hook and the chained opponent will be thrown towards you (you won’t pull them all the way, just like a mild knockback towards you).
Ability 2: Chain Slash
Fausta slashes her hook chain in a cone from left to right in front of her (if you are strafing towards the left, then right to left). She will cause a slow to the enemies hit. If she has an enemy in the chained state with the 1st ability, the ability does more damage to enemies struck, and if the enemy that is chained hits a wall, they get hard CC. You can keep shooting your gun while casting.
Ability 3: Sacrifice
Fausta slashes herself on the abdomen with her mechanical right hand. She takes damage, but she heals her teammates around her. You can hold the ability to heal more, but be careful not to die while healing others.
Ability 4 (ult): Get It Done
Fausta dashes forward while spinning her right hand like a drill. If she hits an enemy, she will stick to him for a little bit, draining his life (she heals that amount), in this state, the enemy cant be healed. (It works like a slow execute). If the enemy is killed by this ability, there is no cooldown (reset).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You could play her like an aggro tank that self-heals or as a healer. Her kit has a lot of utility for dealing with slippery characters, very helpful while still retaining a cool factor. Might be too similar to Victor in design?
