Certain files randomly get corrupted for seemingly no reason.

Not sure if others are suffering from this, but randomly either on the main menu or even during a match, the game will display an error message saying that one of a group of vpks files has been corrupted1000026286.pngScreenshot_64.png

This is, as you can probably tell, REALLY annoying, but that's not even the worst part.

Verifying the files, like the error message tells you to, seemingly takes either AGES to do, or straight up doesn't work at all, staying on 0%. This also happens if you directly try to launch the game again.Screenshot_90-1.png
Deleting steam's download cache, restarting steam/my PC and even redownloading the game doesn't work. Being forced to crash out of the game like this is terrible because not only does it make me look like a malicious player, leaving in the middle of matches, but also basically guarantees that I get a temporary ban from playing due to getting forced out of the match due to the crash. This seriously needs to be fixed ASAP.

Happened to me as well repeatedly the other day - it took me about an hour or more to get into the game. I know this is expected when doing testing, so I'm waiting for a patch to come with fixes for this.

This exact same error happens to me at least once a night, I find redownloading the game fixes it, but to redownload takes like 10 minutes of it being queued up before it starts. For me the error is always the pak01.vpk getting corrupted. Usually it happens right on game start, but tonight it happened at a crucial moment in the game. Not sure what is causing it, it's been happening now for two different patch cycles.

Yes. I strongly recommend that you do not enter matchmaking until you are sure that the problem has been solved. You may lose a copy of the game on Steam altogether.
Where is the game installed? SSD or HDD?
Try to reinstall it on another disk, if possible.
Check the status of the disk where the game is located.
